Mudumalai Wildlife sanctuary can also be declared as Tiger reserve thst rests on the northwestern side of the Nilgiri Hills. It combines both of boundaries of Karnataka and Kerala .There are least 266 varieties of birds in the sanctuary,including critically endangered and vulnerable animals which include Indian Elephant,Bengal Tiger,Gaur and Indian Leopard.There are 48 tigers in the Nilgiri Reserve across which tigers are 100% free to wander.
