Ooty is still in lockdown as ordered by Tamilnadu Government. As always ooty is pleasant during this summer and the town misses her tourists and the economy of the locals are crushed. Due to the corona lockdown normal summer time tourists and summer festivals are terrible miss for the holiday town. For a change wild animals are roaming freely near the town. But Ooty is still beautiful and offer pleasant weather for the visitors. Also not to forget the much needed break for the hill station, the trees and wildlife are free from smoke from vehicles, noise levels are much lower and pollution is almost null for the past 2 months. So the corona cases are decreasing and Government is planning for relaxing the rules for travel. But still nobody is certain when we can travel again to this beautiful hill station. Any guess ?Can it be same like last time without mask and santizers ?
