On the occasion of World Toilet Day, an awareness rally was held in Ooty on Monday to enlighten people about avoiding open defecation, its ill-effects on health and security issues while defecating in forest areas. We all know that Ooty is the Queen of hill stations.Most of the area is considered to be place
for the wild animals like Elephant, Gaur, Tiger, Bear and so on. MOst of these animlas will come into the circle of human beings for their food and water drinking purpose so there is always a conflict between wild animals and humans.And it has been stated that more loss of human being has censored in recent
times. Mostly the conflict is happening during the early morning time because people use the forest as their toilets. On world Toilet day rally has been conducted from Ooty bus stand under guidance of the collector Innocent Divya and many women took part in the rally. Awarness of the toilets is spread across
the people in Ooty.It has been said by the collector that nearly 35000 toilets has been built to the people and almost 3000 toilets are being built to the people of Ooty.
