Rehabilitation of Tahr in Deer park

The Deer park in Ooty consists around 15barking and sambar deer which could turn into a rescue and rehabilitation centre for most of the endangered species. The park has been closed to the public over the last few years which become very difficult problem to slove for the forest department with many animals especially the new born calves and older animals because they are dying with the sickness called pathogens. The mudumalai Tiger Reserve management which is now manages the deer park is trying to shift the animals to zoos to other districts but it is difficult work because the animals are getting scared and feeling a tremendous stress which makes lose their life. The Tahr is found be the endangered herbivore which is likely to be seen in Nilgiris and Valparai.Because of the more humans in the valparai more animals get feared by them some of them get sustaining injuries and in need of medical care. Since there is no dedicated space is allocated for tahr rehabilitate the tahr officials still discussing the best possible course of action that can be followed to relocate animals.
